 Fieldwork and data collection, Tenerife

Field based projects led by University College Dublin and the Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies included several months of real-time  data collection in remote areas of Tenerife in 2014. Support provided by RML team members included coordination with local teams, transport and import/export of research equipment to the island, on site field assistance and 'basecamp' support for the field team on the ground.

Fieldwork in Iceland

This project included several weeks of fieldwork and data collection in very remote locations to establish a semi-permanent volcano-seismic monitoring network for researchers in University College Dublin. It was undertaken in collaboration with the Icelandic Met Office and the FP7Futurevolc Project, and as part of the monitoring hazard during the Bardabunga eruption 2014.
